what type of career is right for me?

I want to go to university next year but i’m not sure what to study because i don’t know what i want to do in the future. i want to base my career decision on something i will enjoy and a job that makes a good amount of money.
my best subject is history, i love music and play the guitar but i can’t read sheet music, i like to meet new people and socialize with friends, i like some sports like football and tennis, my friends say i’m quite opinionated, i like films books tv and also like learning about other people.
I would like to base a decision on my personality so as not to end up in a job i hate. thank you.

Instead thinking of your career, you should focus on a major. This will be the first step in gearing you towards you future career. You can enter into college as undecided and then start taking classes that seem interesting. You like people so sociology and psychology classes could be good. Sports Marketing classes and physical therapy might work since you enjoy sports. You could try some history and education classes that could set you up to become a history teacher. Any of those incorporate learning about other people and one of your many interests. Don’t rush into any decisions about your future just yet. College will give you the time to explore your options and find where your real passions lie. You might end up finding something you never even knew existed.
